Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) – never one to miss out on any conservative social media trend – made her own mugshot in the style of mugshots that Donald Trump and his alleged coconspirators got when they surrendered themselves to authorities in Fulton County, Georgia.
Last night, Trump’s mugshot was shared widely on social media after he turned himself in at an Atlanta jail to face arraignment on 13 criminal charges connected to the alleged conspiracy to falsify Georgia’s 2020 election results and steal the state’s electoral votes. Throughout the week, people were sharing the mugshots of Trump’s 18 alleged co-conspirators as they turned themselves in.

Greene is not being charged as a co-conspirator in the case, and apparently that made her feel left out. So she photoshopped her official House portrait onto the background used by the Atlanta jail for mugshots.
“I stand with President Trump against the commie DA Fani Willis who is nothing more than a political hitman tasked with taking out Biden’s top political opponent,” she wrote. Fulton County district attorney Fani Willis filed charges under state law and is not a part of the Biden administration or the federal government at all. She is also a Democrat, not a Communist.
“Persecution, not prosecution,” Greene added with the hashtag #MAGAMugshot.
People mocked her on X, formerly known as Twitter.
