Out actor Cheyenne Jackson does a fierce impression of his Call Me Kat co-star, queer icon Leslie Jordan.

During an appearance on the Jennifer Hudson Show to promote the Fox production, Jackson launched into an impromptu mimic of Jordan’s trademark vocal style that left the host stunned by the eerie similarity.

“That was excellent,” Hudson gushed. “You sound just like him!”

“Well, I work with him every day,” Jackson replied.

But his next line broke Hudson down as she leaned back on the couch laughing and clapping.

The rest of the clip includes his stories about working with so many “trained” cats and co-star Mayim Bailik’s attempt to sing a Katy Perry song to an unappreciative feline.

Jackson married his husband, Jason Landau in 2014. The couple has two children.
