Lil Nas X gave us two more reasons to love him Sunday night when the out gay rapper delivered pizza to a group of Christians protesting his show in Boston and then zoomed in on one hot demonstrator, admitting he’d fallen “in love.”
The 23-year-old singer was at MGM Music Hall at Fenway Park prepping for his Long Live Montero show when word of the small protest across the street from the venue reached him via a fan video.
Nas stan “Major” tweeted: “Christians are *reportedly* protesting outside of Lil Nas X’s Boston, Massachusetts show during the Long Live Montero Tour.”
Video revealed six or seven mostly young Christians congregated around a bus shelter, sharing the word of God over a portable PA. Signs read “Repent and believe!” and “Jesus is God: even demons know it.”

Twitter user Marcel Taylor added more footage in the comments showing fans in line chanting back their own judgment: “Suck a d**k! Suck a d**k!”
Minutes later, media-savvy Nas decided to do unto others, posting: “just told my team to send them pizza, this is really good promo!”

Video of the delivery shows a tour jockey, pizza box in hand, arriving at the shelter to confused looks. “It’s just pizza,” he explains to the group’s leader.
The Christian responds politely, but loudly, over the PA. “We thank you. We appreciate it, but no thank you.”
That’s when video of the encounter downshifts to slo-mo, and Mystery of Love from the Call Me by Your Name soundtrack comes up on Nas’ object of affection: a young, bearded caramel beauty in black T-shirt and grey sweat shorts. The lyrics sing: “Oh, to see without my eyes, the first time that you kissed me.”
“They didn’t want the pizza,” posted Nas, “but i accidentally fell in love with one of the homophobic protestors.”

The stunt was, as Twitter user Leo, put it in the comments, “LEGEND.”
Nas’s Long Live Montero tour wraps in San Francisco October 23, then heads overseas. Don’t forget to pick up an “I love Jesus t-shirt” before you go.
