For our second annual Pride in Pictures, LGBTQ Nation asked readers to submit a meaningful photo of themselves at Pride.
We have absolutely loved seeing your joy, your glitter, your fabulous outfits, and of course, your pride. Now, we’re spending the summer sharing some of our favorite photos and stories with all of you.

What makes this photo special to you?
This is my wife Tina and I with Chasten Buttigieg. It will be her last Pride. We put everything we had in to the campaign and after we won the election. I lost my wife April 1 of 2021. The Las Vegas Pride was the first time she and I had ever marched in a pride parade. It was more than pride of being in a community; it was pride for leadership, it was the pride that America was going to change for the better. This photo to me represents the change we were fighting so hard to get.
