Here’s a few couples to remind us what love looks like this Valentine’s Day

With everything going on in the world, it may be hard to remember what pure love looks like. Almost a year into the pandemic, many of us can’t even celebrate holidays like Valentine’s Day like we used to.

So this Valentine’s Day, LGBTQ Nation decided to highlight women in love. We decided to share posts from a few Instagrams who can show us how it’s done.

If you’re looking for a heartwarming distraction from the winter blues, these couples will surely melt your heart:

On their website, Ali and Jenni write that a lack of femme lesbian representation in the media led both of them to stay closeted into adulthood.

That’s why they publicize their love for all to see.

2. @lisbia_

Lisa and Bianca, an Austrian couple, take you from the mountains to the sea in their breathtakingly beautiful and tender photos.

3. @theglamfemme

Also a blog run by writer Patricia Martin, The Glam Femme celebrates queer women and femmes of color with an aim to represent “the many ways we occupy space in the world.”

4. @jesskingnyc

Peleton Instructor Jess King recently celebrated six years with music artist Sophia Urista, and shared the celebration with her 280,000 followers.

“To the ends of the world with you,” King wrote. King and Urista also host an Instagram cooking show together.

5. @nothingbutlovehere

Through touching photos and videos of Crystal and Rosemary share their daily adventures, deep love, and laughter.

6. @mamas_triplet_love

Courtney and Sabrina are the mothers of one year old triplets. They share their adventures in parenting and queer family love with their near eleven thousand Instagram followers.

7. @Morgan_brittaney

Through gorgeous photos and sweet captions, Morgan Brittaney shares her love for her Ana.

If you’re looking for even more sweetness, you can often find Ana leaving some pretty cute responses in the comments.
