Kate Hutchinson, the trans community outreach officer for Pride Cmyru in Wales shared a bright moment on the train when a young child asked her a question.
“Are you transgender,” the child asked.
The child’s parent tried to shush the child, but Hutchinson answered that she was, and that the question was okay. The child’s response was priceless.
“My friend at school is too, I’m so glad she can be herself, and I’m glad she’s not a grouchy boy anymore,” said the child.
