Jennifer Lopez posted a message of support for her sister’s child, who happens to be non-binary.
Brendan was represented their school at the Global Young Leaders Conference in DC, and, like any proud aunt would, Jennifer Lopez wanted the whole world to know.
“Brendan is strong and smart and loving and a obviously a leader!!” Lopez wrote. “Titi Jenn loves you!!”
Lopez’s followers on Instagram generally appreciated her use of gender-neutral pronouns “they” and “their” to refer to Brendan.
