Target’s bathroom policy: ‘These freaks will get us all killed’

On Monday, rabidly right-wing wingnut and radio host Rick Wiles dedicated a large chunk of his “Trunews” program to a spooky rant about Target’s new bathroom policy, which lets transgender people use whatever restroom best matches their gender identity.

You know where this is going: Pulling his best psychic overlord routine, Wiles predicts the new policy will transform America into Sodom and Gomorrah. Fortunately, or unfortunately, he says God is now taking matters into his own hands: He plans to destroy the country by way of a big-budget nuclear war with Russia, all to spite Target.

After Wiles reads the official statement from Target spokeswoman Molly Snyder, he says, “How about if I just urinate on your floor? How about that, Molly? Because you’re defecating on this nation.”

Sans PowerPoint presentation, Wiles suggests the bathroom policy and the retail chain’s decision last year to stop organizing toys in a “Girls” and “Boys” section are part of a sexy new “revolution” being carried out by Nazis.

“Our minds are being captured, Doc, by perverts,” he tells seemingly rapt co-host Doc Burkhart. “This is what happened in Germany. The Nazis were perverts. They took over Germany. It was a radical, socialist, homosexual movement called the Nazi Socialist Party. They’re now in control of America, and sane people better rise up and oppose it quickly. This is just the beginning.”

Target is currently promoting a Spring sale that gets you $10 off when you spend $50.
