Police are searching for witnesses after a 19-year-old Asian teen was brutally assaulted on his way home from work in North Yorkshire on Thursday, January 28.
According to reports, one man grabbed the victim, holding his arms behind his back and pushing the victim forward as the other attacker repeatedly kicked and punched him in the head.
The men were reportedly both shouting homophobic, racial slurs throughout the ordeal.
Police are investigating the incident as a hate crime.

One suspect is described as white and in his mid- to late 40s, with a shaved head, a chunky build, and neatly-shaven sideburns. He has excess skin on his neck; like a “turkey neck.” According to Pink News, he wore “a navy blue outdoor coat, dirty blue jeans and tan or sand-colored Timberland-style workers’ boots, with construction-type dirt on them.” He wore a plain gold wedding band on his wedding ring finger.
The second suspect is also described as “chunky” and in his mid- to late 40s, with thinning hair and stubble. He wore a black leather bomber jacket, jeans, brown workers’ boots, and had a blue tattoo on one of his wrists.
