GOP presidential candidate Mike Huckabee is once again attacking rival Ted Cruz.
The most recent fracas concerns a meeting Cruz conducted with gay businessmen in 2015 despite his opposition to gay marriage.
Mike Huckabee: Ted Cruz isn’t homophobic enough to be President
“I’ll never play political games with my faith,” Huckabee tweeted on Wednesday, sharing a link to a New York Times article about the meeting. “We shouldn’t say one thing for votes, and another for NYC money.”

The Times story details how the two gay hotel owners hosted Cruz for a meet-and-greet in their penthouse.
Cruz came under fire last week for disparaging comments he made about “New York values.”
This is far from the first time Huckabee has attacked Cruz during his lathargic campaign. A radio spot that ran in Iowa in December suggested Cruz was secretly supported by “liberals” and wasn’t antigay enough to be the next president.
Nevertheless, the two candidates are both antigay enough to participate in events hosted by the likes of Kevin Swanson, who has gone on the record to say that all gays should be executed. Which, as far as sentiments go, is certifiably antigay.
How can @TedCruz say morality a state issue? Morality not geographical. Laws of nature & nature’s God are basis of morality—not a GPS. (3/3)
