In a tweet dated December 25, transgender prisoner Chelsea Manning went on a tirade about Caitlyn Jenner, writing “In 2015 @Caitlyn_Jenner ws the grinch who stole (& sold out) the trans movement. All I want 4 Xmas is Universal Trans Lib. #ChristmasEve2015”

Manning, formerly Bradley Manning, is serving 35 years for sending classified documents to the WikiLeaks website.
Earlier this year, Manning asked to grow out her hair, and government officials opposed the request, which was part of a larger lawsuit filed in federal court in Washington.

The lawsuit stated that gender-appropriate grooming is part of the recognized treatment for gender dysphoria, Manning’s sense of being a woman in a man’s body.

The US soldier was charged with four violations of custody rules back in August. Among those violations was being in possession of a copy of the June 2015 issue of Vanity Fair that featured Jenner on the cover
