KKK to Floridians: End AIDS by ‘bashing gays”

A group identifying itself as the KKK has distributed flyers in Jacksonville, Florida communities intending to urge people to “support gay bashing.”

According to the leaflets, doing so will “stop AIDS.”

Towards the bottom of the page, it reads: “Homosexual men and their sexual acts are disgusting and inhuman,”adding, “ban non-white immigration,” “outlaw Haitians,” and “deport mud people.”

Jimmy Midyette, of the Jacksonville Coalition for Equality, posted one of the fliers to Facebook, writing:

“These flyers have begun to appear at the homes of LGBT people – and surely others – in Jacksonville.

“This is an unfortunate consequence of our recent success. Both with marriage equality and the progress we’re making on equality in Jacksonville, we sadly can expect the vocal minority to freak out.

“Between this and the bomb threat made yesterday, our vigilance is required.”

Similar fliers were reported in Louisiana last summer, calling for people to “stop AIDS” by slaughtering gays.
