On Tuesday evening, Anderson Cooper appeared on “Late Night with Seth Meyers” for an impromptu discussion about Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, and said he “defies the laws of political gravity at this point.”
“Michelle Bachmann, her star rose quickly, but it fell quickly as well,” he notes. “Donald Trump has the money to back up whatever he wants to do and he’s tapped into something very powerful… I take all candidates seriously, so I actually like talking to Donald Trump. I like interviewing him… He just kind of shows up, sits down, nobody is telling me to wrap it up in ten minutes… He says what’s on his mind, whether you agree with it or not. And then he attacks you in the process, which is always entertaining.”
