An Atlanta couple whose Instagram photo (above) of them doing their daughters’ hair went viral last year, are starring in a new video for Nikon’s “I am Generation Image” campaign.

Kordale and Kaleb Lewis say the image last year generated both positive and negative reactions, with a good helping of racism and homophobia.

“It was simple, innocent picture… and then next thing you know it went viral. I’m still amazed today,” Kordale explained.

Now, the couple is prominently featured in the Nikon campaign, and say they hope the story and images that they share of their family reveal how much their family is just like everyone else’s.
