“Roseanne” alum and “The Talk” host Sara Gilbert announced Tuesday that she and her wife, rock songwriter-producer Linda Perry, are expecting their first child together.
Gilbert told her “Talk” co-hosts that she would not be facing her fear of a cinderblock being broken on her stomach during their “Face Your Fears” week.
“Before we go I just want to say I’m actually not going to do the dare,” she said. “I was scared to do it and I really believe in facing your fears … but I actually can’t do the dare because I’m pregnant.”

Gilbert, 39, and Perry, 49, have been together since late 2011 and married in March following an 11-month engagement.
This will be Gilbert’s second pregnancy and her third child. She and former partner Allison Adler had two kids together: son Levi, now 9, who was carried by Adler, and daughter Sawyer, who was carried by Gilbert and who turned 7 last week.
