Tacoma sixth grader: ‘I am transgender, I’ve thought that since I was three’

TACOMA, Wash. — A sixth grade student from Tacoma is featured in a recent issue of TIME Magazine, and he’s sharing with the world a secret that he kept from even the closest of classmates.

“I am transgender, I’ve thought that since I was three,” says 11-year-old Mac Davis, in a new profile by KOMO-TV.

Mac said he has known since he was a toddler in pig tails and pink clothes that his gender didn’t match his assigned sex.
