Oscar-nominated actor Jonah Hill is apologizing for yelling for yelling an anti-gay slur at a photographer in Los Angeles over the weekend.
Hill, 30, was walking with friends as he was followed by paparazzi shouting out comments in hopes the actor would respond, when one photographer began teasing him about his pink shorts: “I like the shorts though, bro. They are pretty sexy.”
The photographer followed Hill for another 40 seconds or so before wishing him a good day — and that’s when an obviously angry and frustrated Hill uncorked the homophobic slur, reports TMZ.
“Suck my dick, you faggot!” Hill responded.

Hill — who has been active in supporting gay rights and has spoken out against Russia’s anti-gay laws — said the photographer had been following him for a while and saying mean things about his family and himself.
“I played into exactly what he wanted and lost my cool,” he told Stern. “I shouldn’t have said that.”
