NEW YORK — “Modern Family” star Jesse Tyler Ferguson married his partner, attorney Justin Mikita in New York City on Saturday.
More than 200 guest attended the star-studded event, including Top Chef host Padma Lakshmi, Julie Bowen, Ty Burell, Jerry O’ Connell, Rebecca Romijn, Zachary Quinto, Isaac Mizrahi and husband, Arnold Germer, Nigel Barker, Cat Deely, Mary Murphy, Tyce Diorio, and Eric Stonestreet, reported Us Weekly.
Late Saturday night, Ferguson tweeted, “Never been happier. XO Goodnight!” Mikita followed with, simply, “Husband.”
Ferguson, 37, and Mikita, 27, got engaged last year in Mexico, after being together nearly two years.

Last year the couple founded the “TieTheKnot” bowtie collection, with all proceeds going towards groups focused on LGBT rights.
The California residents chose New York for their wedding “because that’s where it’s legal, so we want to support the state that’s in support of us,” Ferguson said earlier this year.
After the U.S. Supreme Court ruling in June that cleared the way for gay marriages to resume in California, the couple said “we’re too far down the planning path to change.”
Playwright and screenwriter Tony Kushner officiated the ceremony.
