Amtrak launched its “Ride With Pride” campaign on Wednesday, a partnership with the International Gay and Lesbian Travel Association (IGLTA) — a travel network that connects LGBT individuals with travel companies that are LGBT friendly.
The campaign includes a new website, Amtrak With Pride, promoting LGBT-friendly Amtrak destinations such as Martha’s Vineyard, Lake Placid and California Wine Country.
Along with the new website, Amtrak also released two LGBT-friendly advertisements, marketing Amtrak’s family discount program to same-sex parents.
Two versions of an ad boasting the same headline, “Priceless family moments are now affordable,” have been released, one featuring two dads, the other with two moms:

Amtrak will become one of 2,000 members of the IGLTA’s network of travel-oriented businesses.
“At Amtrak, diversity is not just a corporate buzzword, it’s a priority,” Amtrak’s site reads.
“There are many components that may define business diversity, but we believe there is ultimately one main goal: To promote a fair, positive, equitable and inclusive environment, free from discrimination and harassment, with individual commitment to ensure that our customers, our suppliers and our workforce reflect the diverse fabric of America.”
