New York marriage equality coalition plans rally at state capitol in Albany

A New York state Senate vote on whether to legalize same-sex marriage has been pushed back at least another day as the debate continues over religious exemptions, while hundreds of demonstrators on Monday rallied for and against the measure at the state capitol in Albany.

New Yorkers United for Marriage is planning a rally at the West Capitol Park on Tuesday at Noon:

New Yorkers United for Marriage is an alliance of the Empire State Pride Agenda, Freedom to Marry, Human Rights Campaign, Marriage Equality New York and New York Log Cabin Republicans. The coalition was formed April 20 to align efforts towards legalizing same-sex marriage in New York.
