Vice-President Joe Biden lends his voice to the ‘It Gets Better’ project

The White House this week released Vice-President Joe Biden’s contribution to the national anti-bullying video campaign, “It gets better,” in the ongoing effort to quell the number of LGBTQ youth and young adult suicides.

In his video, the Vice-President tells young people said, “There’s not a single thing about you that’s not normal, good and decent … No one can make you feel inferior without your consent. Don’t give your consent.”

Seattle-based activist and author Dan Savage launched the “It Gets Better Project” to provide support and encouragement to LGBT teens struggling with bullying and adversity.
