Watch: Justin Bieber pays tribute to Orlando shooting victims

Justin Bieber included a tribute to the victims of the Orlando shooting, as well as singer Christina Grimmie, during his performance in Orlando, Florida on Thursday night.

The 49 names of those killed as a result of the mass shooting at the Pulse nightclub scrolled across a large screen, along with singer Grimmie, who was shot and killed in a separate incident in Orlando just one day earlier, as Bieber performed his song “Purpose.”

Grimmie, who rose to fame as a contestant on “The Voice,” was friends with Bieber’s ex, Selena Gomez.

“You’ve been through a lot here, and my heart goes out to all the families. You can’t take down Orlando!” Bieber told the audience at one point during his concert, reports local NBC affiliate 9 News.

After the show, Bieber tweeted out, “Thank you for tonight. Don’t ever be afraid to be yourself.#OrlandoStrong
