MARTA (Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority) police arrested Frederick L. Missick and Luther L. Thomas; both men are charged with disorderly conduct in the brawl was caught on camera and posted online.

The video of the fight shows the two women — Janell Crosby and Tyra Woods — being verbally harassed before one man threw a kick at one of the women, reported The GA Voice. Her friend, also a trans woman, tried to help defend and she was attacked by another man, leading to a violent brawl.

People on the train did not try to stop the fight and instead many cheered and took videos on their phones.

Crosby and Woods say the fight began after they were harassed by Missick and Thomas because they are transgender, MARTA officials said.

WSB-TV has a video of the attack (an uncensored version is here):

Missick, 35, and Thomas, 34, were being held at the Fulton County Jail on $2,500 bond.

Crosby said the attack led her to decide to move back to New York where she has family. Woods, who was stripped naked in the attack, is now in Cleveland, Ohio, staying for family for a few weeks.
