In a new video for the “Mitt Gets Worse” campaign, retiring U.S. Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass.) speaks about his experiences with Mitt Romney and gives his opinion on how Mitt would “get worse” is elected President.

“I don’t really know that Mitt Romney dislikes gay people … (But he is) consumed by ambition and willing to trash minority groups and appeal to prejudice against them for political advancement,” said Frank.

Watch:

In the video, Frank speculates that a Romney victory would be a serious setback for LGBT people, that Romney would reinstate “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell,” the now-repealed ban on openly gay service members, and that Romney would lead a campaign advocating for a federal constitutional amendment to ban same-sex marriage, and invalidate existing unions where states have already legalized marriage equality.

“He has never been in favor of any legislation or executive order that would advance our rights. Zero. None.” sad Frank.

  1. Sounds like the democratic game plan. They’ve thrown gays under the bus every time it was politically expedient.
