GLEN BURNIE, Md. — Kenneth (“Kenny”) Wolf, a 14-year-old freshman at Old Mill High School in Millersville, Md., died Friday at Baltimore Washington Medical Center following a suicide attempt Thursday night, LGBTQ Nation has learned.
Kenny identified as bisexual, according to classmates, and was constantly bullied because of his sexual orientation.
Sources told LGBTQ Nation that Kenny hanged himself late Thursday.
A spokesperson at the Anne Arundel County police department on Saturday confirmed the teen’s “death,” but declined to indicate cause — official cause of death would be determined by the state medical examiner’s office.

Correction: An earlier version of this story incorrectly listed Kenneth’s age as 15. Kenneth was born Sept. 17, 1997, and was 14 at the time of his death.

My thoughts and Prayers give me pause on this easter for the family of this young person. Wow how lucky am I.. I pause for this family wow.. We must do somthing more then what we are doing to battle this to ensure there will be no more deaths because od BULLYING.. WE MUST DO BETTER. WE MUST BE BETTER.. It will sadly never end, don’t see a day where bullying is ever completely eradicated.
It won’t be significantly reduced until schools start taking it more seriously, state legislatures stop fighting against anti bullying laws (or fighting to allow religious exemptions which are nothing more than licenses to bully) and until there is a national standard in place that states that there are going to be very real repercussions for this sort of thing and not a mere slap on the wrist.
Even then I feel that there’s going to have to be some bullies made examples of before it begins to sink into the other students that “hey this really isn’t an okay thing to do”
This has to stop. The government has to give in, & enact laws to stop bullies, & give gay rights already. Were the most modern country in the world, but were still behind the times. Other countries have given LGBTQ rights already.
What an absolute travesty and such a loss of a young and promising life.

This needs to stop! I am one of the lucky ones my suicide attempts failed but bully has left me with scars both literally from cutting myself but the emotional scars are even worse

You know, I’d really like to know, if you all haven’t already, figured out the total of suicides already in 2012. I know it’s well in the double digits. Statistics tell hard truths. Maybe we should focus more on that now.
