What are the Proposition 8 proponents trying to hide?

Monday, August 29, 2011

Just what are the Prop 8 proponents trying to hide, and why are they afraid to let the public see their witnesses being cross-examined? We may find out after a hearing on Monday.

Also, John Boehner’s defense of DOMA is found to be full of junk science, a semi-reprieve for LGBTs fearing deportation, and there’s lots of work still to do in Maine. This week’s Marriage News Watch is here:

  5. Thomas Alex, this is concerning people who would normally be able to get a green pass by marrying their partner. The cases that we make a big deal over are the ones where a couple is monogomous or married, but their marriaqge is not recognized federally because of DOMA. Some come from countries where it is illegal or dangerous to be openly gay. This is one of the vital reasons it needs to be repealed.

  6. Thomas Alex, why do you want to err on the side of violent bigotry?

Bigotry is not a value anyone should aspire to, why are you proud to be a Bigot?

  7. You can read transcripts by live bloggers, here:

So, what the proponents are trying to hide is their inept arguments, their OWN expert admitting that gay marriage is beneficial to the general population– not to mention GLBT folk themselves– live on film.

Those films will appear on youtube in record time, and DOM will look like the laughingstocks they are.

That’s what they want to hide.
