FRC gunman indicted by federal grand jury
WASHINGTON — A Virginia man who entered the the lobby of the conservative anti-gay group, the Family Research Council, on August 15 and shot a security guard, was indicted Wednesday on federal charges related to the incident.

LGBT activists: Proposed GOP platform ‘out-of-step’ with mainstream American values
WASHINGTON — Early reports Monday that the Republican National Party platform might contain language that would soften the GOP’s view on LGBT rights were dashed by late afternoon as documents showed that party leadership had asked virulently anti-gay president of the Family Research Council, Tony Perkins, to assist in drafting language relating to same-sex marriage.

On Friday, FRC’s second in command – Executive Vice President Jerry Boykin – appeared on the Glenn Beck Program and called the SPLC an “anti-American, anti-Christian, anti-Semitic, Marxist organization.” Continuing, he said that the SPLC is an “evil group of people” who “are dangerous.”

There is absolutely no doubt that FRC, along with more than a dozen other “Christian” based organizations lie about LGBT people. And this is the root of the escalating tension: the propagation of lies. This does damage. This oppresses fellow humans. Those who continue to do this all use the Bible to validate their oppression, making it extremely vile to many Christians. You can only push on and denigrate people for so long before it boils over…
