Nashville approves domestic partner benefits for city, county workers
NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Nashville Metropolitan Council on Tuesday voted to offer health insurance and pension benefits to the same-sex domestic partners of city/county “Metro” workers. Oral arguments set in appeal of Michigan, three other states same-sex marriage rulings
DETROIT — Oral arguments have been scheduled by a federal appeals court in the appeals of same-sex marriage rulings in Michigan, Kentucky, Tennessee and Ohio. The Cincinnati-based U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit said in a court filing Monday that it would hear arguments in the cases on August 6.
