Once again, the National Organization for Marriage is promoting North Carolina pastor Patrick Wooden, who stars in a video meant to drum up support for the state’s discriminatory Amendment One.

It’s not only the fact that the National Organization for Marriage specifically said it wanted drive a wedge between the black and gay communities. It’s also the fact that NOM was recruiting African-American leaders to speak out against marriage equality for the purpose of getting the gay community provoked.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Singer Clay Aiken, a North Carolina native, said he loves his home state but is deeply unhappy about proposed amendment to the state constitution that would ban same sex marriages. The former “American Idol” contestant spoke out about the amendment in a video posted to YouTube on Monday.

On last week’s edition of Americans For Truth About Homosexuality Radio Hour, a self-described “former homosexual” called for the arrest of author Dan Savage for his campaign to end suicide among LGBT youth, and today host Peter LaBarbera and guest Patrick Wooden reminisced about when violence against gay and transgender people was considered “normal.”

Raleigh N.C. “diaper pastor” Patrick Wooden is not only refusing to take back his comments that gay men have so much anal sex that they require surgery and diapers, and that they use gerbils, baseball bats, and cell phones as sexual instruments, but he seems to be reveling in his notoriety at the expense of looking like a damn fool.

Today, Patrick Wooden stood by his previous claims, going as far as to say that gay men regularly shove objects such as cellphones, baseball bats and animals up their anuses and that he personally knows a gay person who “literally died in diapers” because he “literally lost control of himself.”

Patrick Wooden, one of the chief organizers for the North Carolina amendment to ban same-sex marriage, claims that by the time gay men reach their middle ages they “have to wear a diaper or a butt plug just to be able to contain their bowels” because of “what happens to the male anus.”
