Rep. Lauren Boebert said the U.S. military doesn’t care about “winning battles” as much as it wants to provide health care to servicemembers and spread communist propaganda.

Biden condemned the Trump administration’s decision to ban Pride flags from military bases last year, and pledged to overturn it as President – but the Pentagon is continuing it specifically for Pride.

Co-introduced in the House by out Rep. Mark Takano, the bill would address the lingering effects of the military’s decades-long attack on LGBTQ personnel.

The measures will allow service members to access gender-affirming health care, among other provisions.

While there is still an internal review of recruitment policy under way in the Defense Department, the Pentagon made clear that trans people can walk in and start enlisting whenever they’re ready.

One of Biden’s biggest campaign promises to LGBTQ voters is being fulfilled.

“I truly believe, senator… that if you are fit and you’re qualified to serve and you can maintain the standards, you should be allowed to serve,” said Secretary of Defense nominee Lloyd Austin.
