Anti-trans rhetoric, politics, and discrimination are having a clear negative impact on trans and nonbinary people’s mental health.

A recent survey suggested several ways to help LGBTQ+ youth too.

“In one of our last conversations, he wondered if he was safe walking down the street,” she said of her son Henry.

“I am a ‘she’ right now. But I also like dressing up as a man and being a ‘he.’ You don’t have to put so much pressure on yourself.”

It is critically important for LGBTQ youth to have access to resources, services and support that enables them to feel accepted and included.

The suicide and crisis prevention organization hopes to continue expanding around the world to help as many LGBTQ youths as possible.

“I’m just as human as everybody else in the city,” the late Kevin Ward once said in an interview.

Democrats said that a teacher might be the only adult a student can turn to, but the bill would take that away from LGBTQ youth.

Logic’s “1-800-273-8255” may have gotten more people in crisis to call for help and saved lives.

There is a lot of help out there for people in crisis, and now people can text if they don’t want to call.
