Jim Obergefell helped make marriage equality a reality in the U.S. now he wants to help everyone “to participate fully in society and the economy.”

Dozens of LGBTQ candidates are already slated to run for both state and federal offices, but here are five who could break through the rainbow ceiling and make queer history.
