Pa. governor Tom Corbett supports bill to outlaw anti-LGBT discrimination
HARRISBURG, Pa. — Gov. Tom Corbett said Wednesday that he would be willing to sign legislation to outlaw discrimination based on someone’s sexual orientation or gender identity, but he was unprepared to say what he will do, if anything, to try to dislodge such bills that have thus far languished in the Republican-controlled Legislature.

Pennsylvania House committee abruptly yanks anti-gay marriage bill
HARRISBURG, Pa. — The House State Government Committee on Tuesday abruptly delayed its vote on a measure that would establish an amendment to the Pennsylvania Constitution, redefining marriage as “the legal union of only one man and one woman.”

Poll shows Pennsylvanians backing same-sex marriage
Half of Pennsylvanians favor a constitutional amendment to legalize same-sex marriage and an even larger percentage think the state should at least allow civil unions, according to a Franklin & Marshall College unveiled Wednesday.
