The administration is intervening in a state case to argue that a teacher can be legally fired for getting married.

Basically the administration is saying that it’s okay for any religious-owned entity to fire a queer person, even when the entity depends on taxpayer funds to operate.

Now one is out of a job and the Archdiocese of Indianapolis has been hit with a lawsuit for meddling in his employment with the school.

I was a closeted gay student at Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory School in Indianapolis. Now, I am an openly gay professor of religion and LGBTQ politics.

The archdiocese has instructed all schools under its umbrella to immediately enforce all employment contracts – effectively a blanket order to fire any LGBTQ staff members.
