West Palm Beach, Fla. to require contractors to offer same-sex benefits
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — The city of West Palm Beach, Fla., has voted to require contractors who do at least $50,000 in business with the city to offer equal family benefits to all employees, including those in same-sex relationships. The Palm Beach Post reports that the city commission voted Monday 5-0 to approve the policy, which applies to businesses with five or more employees.
