Transphobes have decided that Daniel Radcliffe’s pregnant girlfriend is trans & it’s very dumb

“Gender critical” advocates on Twitter are now saying that actor Daniel Radcliffe’s girlfriend of over 10 years – actress Erin Darke – is secretly transgender… despite her pregnancy.

TERFs – trans-exclusionary radical feminists, who sometimes call themselves “gender critical” – pointed out how Darke is taller than Radcliffe, a sure sign that she’s trans since no cis woman has ever been taller than any cis man.

“I wanted them to know that not everybody in the franchise felt that way.”

This was first pointed out by A Fool’s Circle author Suzanne Seddon, whose Insta profile says she’s “AWAKE not WOKE” and who uses Twitter to call trans women men and post anti-vaccine messages.

“This is Daniel Radcliffes (Harry Potter) Girlfriend,” she wrote. “Now what do you see?”

She included a picture of Radcliffe and Darke. The couple has been together since 2012 and announced in March that they’re expecting their first child.

Also, Darke is taller than Radcliffe – who is five feet, five inches tall – and has thick eyebrows.

Her message may appear cryptic to the uninitiated, but her fans knew what she was implying. One even went so far as to point out that Darke will never get pregnant despite her literally being pregnant right now.

Radcliffe has long spoken out against Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling’s transphobia, and recently he appeared in a Trevor Project series intended to help trans youth raise their voices.

“We listen to so many people talk about trans youth and hear them talked about so often in the news, but very rarely do we actually hear from these youth directly,” Radcliffe said of the series. “It was an absolute privilege to get to meet and listen to this incredible group of young people. At the end of the day, if you’re going to talk about trans kids, it might be useful to actually listen to trans kids.”

As the Irish drag queen Panti Bliss pointed out above, his support of trans people has made him a target of transphobes.

As for Seddon, she wasn’t fazed by the mockery she received, apparently. She posted a dubbed video of former First Lady Barbara Bush to imply that she was trans too. And some of her followers believed her this time, though fewer than with Darke.
