Conservative Christians are outraged that a new jewelry commercial shows a gay couple kissing.

One Million Moms, a project of the anti-LGBTQ hate group America Family Association, is taking issue with an ad from Kay Jewelers that shows several couples kissing, and one of the couples is two men who have a small child.

The ad, according to OMM, “attempts to normalize sin by featuring two homosexual men together with their young son.”

“This ad is inappropriate on so many levels and is clearly attempting to desensitize viewers,” OMM said on their site. “Promoting same-sex relationships has nothing to do with marketing jewelry. Yet Kay Jewelers wants to make it clear where they stand on this controversial topic, instead of remaining neutral in the culture war.”

“One Million Moms must remain diligent. Scripture says multiple times that homosexuality is wrong, and God will not tolerate this sinful nature.”

OMM said that the ad is actually worse than it seems because it’s “airing during prime time when children are likely to be watching television.”

OMM is encouraging supporters to sign a petition that reads: “I am not buying into your social agenda to push the gay lifestyle or same-sex marriage. Your ad featuring two gay dads offends me.”

“I will not support Kay Jewelers this Mother’s Day, during this wedding and graduation season, or anytime in the near future as long as it is airing this commercial featuring a homosexual couple,” the petition states.

OMM claims that over 12,000 people have signed the petition so far. The “petition” is just a way for the group to add gullible believers to their mailing list and donation requests.
