Out Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ), a thorn in the side of the Biden administration and a pariah in the LGBTQ community for her willingness to derail civil rights legislation in favor of “bipartisanship,” has reportedly been busted talking smack about her fellow Democrats.
The new book from New York Times reporters Jonathan Martin and Alexander Burns, This Will Not Pass, alleges that Sinema has been talking up GOP leadership while mocking the president. And Biden, in turn, simply doesn’t understand the bisexual senator.

“One person close to the president likened Biden’s perplexity at Sinema to his difficulty grasping his grandchildren’s use of … TikTok. He wanted to relate, but he just didn’t quite get it,” the authors write in a sneak peek provided by Axios.

During a fundraiser hosted by a group of “Republican-heavy” lobbyists, Sinema reportedly praised GOP House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) and Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ). Biggs has repeatedly endorsed former president Donald Trump’s “Big Lie” that Trump actually won the election. One of the most anti-LGBTQ members of Congress, Biggs also claimed that the attack on the Capitol by Trump supporters was actually a false flag operation by Antifa.
“I love Andy Biggs,” she said. “I know some people think he’s crazy, but that’s just because they don’t know him.”
Sinema has made it a point to be perpetually at odds with the Biden administration while claiming she speaks for other Democrats. She has quickly become a target of national outrage by progressives and fellow Democrats that she has repeatedly demeaned, dismissed, and forsaken.
Still, she told the Republicans that several moderate Democrats were “hiding behind my skirt.”
The book also points out that “she became the first-ever lawmaker to argue with White House aides when they asked her to wear a face mask in the company of the president, repeatedly asking why that was necessary when she had been vaccinated.”
