Out Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg was on MSNBC’s Morning Joe today to talk about supply chain disruptions and the Biden administration’s task force to work on global trade disruptions… and he also talked about the joy of being a new dad with his husband Chasten.
“It’s been wonderful,” he said when asked about how he’s handling raising his twin newborns by co-host Mika Brzezinski. “It’s everything people tell you to expect and more.”

“I think the biggest thing that has surprised me is just how much joy there is even sometimes in the hard parts.”
“It’s the most demanding thing I think I’ve ever done,” Buttigieg continued. “I used to think of 5 a.m. as ‘early,’ now I think of it as ‘nap time,’ if I’m lucky.”
“And yet I catch myself grinning half the time,” he concluded. “We’re just over the moon.”
