Comedian Kathy Griffin had a great clapback to a protestor who called vaccine mandates “gay.”
A picture went viral over the weekend that showed someone protesting vaccine mandates.
“MANDATE SOUNDS GAY TO ME,” their sign read, a pun about “man” and “date.” Some people on Twitter said that they recognized the photo’s background as Yucca Valley, California.
“In response to this sign I say ‘Well then, maybe that’s why I love vax mandates,'” Griffin retorted.

Others on Twitter had trouble taking the protestor seriously.
It’s Pfizer and Eve, not Pfizer and Steve

When he's not holding that sign he can be found in the Men's room stall trying to open a hole in the divider wall. pic.twitter.com/1NxvGahAnw

Peaked is a nicer way of saying "That was the last time anyone thought they had any sort of potential for the future"
