Former President Donald Trump is continuing his feud with the US Women’s National Soccer team, slamming them as “leftist maniacs” and saying they’re too “woke” to win a gold medal at the Olympics.
The team won bronze with out player Megan Rapinoe leading the team to victory. Trump has a vendetta against Rapinoe for saying she would decline an invitation to the White House if the team won the 2019 Women’s World Cup.

“I’m not going to the fucking White House,” Rapinoe scoffed when asked by a reporter. She went on to say that she knew the team wouldn’t be invited by Trump. The president petulantly responded on Twitter that “Megan should win before she talks.”

The team won.
“If our soccer team, headed by a radical group of Leftist Maniacs, wasn’t woke, they would have won the Gold Medal instead of the Bronze,” Trump said in a statement issued by his Save America PAC.
“Woke means you lose, everything that is woke goes bad, and our soccer team certainly has.”
Trump continued his tirade by singling out Rapinoe in particular. He has not commented on any men’s teams or players.
“The woman with the purple hair played terribly and spends too much time thinking about Radical Left politics and not doing her job!”
“They should replace the wokesters with Patriots and start winning again,” he added with complaints that players knelt during the playing of the National Anthem.
