With the Tokyo Olympics commencing in under two weeks, most countries have already selected the athletes that will represent them in the Summer Games, which are taking place a year after they were originally scheduled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Those countries won’t be the only communities represented at the games. Analysis by Outsports shows that the Olympics will include a record-shattering 121 athletes who are publicly out, and 30 of them will be participating on behalf of the United States.
