Twitter thinks that Meghan McCain’s stylist is getting secret revenge for The View co-host’s racist and rightwing comments.

As McCain’s outfits and hairstyles have become more and more bizarre, social media users are wondering why her look is suddenly matching her remarks.

McCain complained today that America is too deeply invested in “identity politics” and wondered if one of the current hosts should be fired so they could be replaced by an Asian person. McCain apologized yesterday for seemingly endorsing former President Trump’s racist references to the coronavirus as the “China virus” or “Wuhan flu” after she was called out by talk show host and comedian John Oliver.

“I think this is just the natural progression of identity politics,” she continued. “The View is 25 years old next year. We’ve only had one Asian American host co-host this show. So does that mean that one of us should be leaving at some point because there’s not enough representation?”

McCain’s main qualification for becoming a co-host is that her father was a famous Senator and she has a large social media following.

“Every day Meghan McCain, daughter of a senator and heiress of the Anheuser-Busch fortune, goes on TV and tells Whoopi and Sunny, who both grew up in the projects, how elitist they are,” one Twitter user pointed out.

Others, however, focused on McCain’s unique look for the show.

“I am entirely convinced at this point that Meghan McCain’s stylist takes a healthy slug of peyote before showing up for work these days,” Daniel Summers tweeted.

“I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that I think Meghan McCain’s hairstylist hates her as much as everyone else does,” Kyla In The Burgh added.

More and more users piled on as they expressed their disgust for McCain’s racist rhetoric that matched her look.
