Ali Krieger & Ashlyn Harris are sharing their daughter, Sloane Phillips, with the world and the internet is celebrating with them. The soccer stars posted photos of the newborn on Instagram and social media quickly fell in love.
Krieger said the adoption was the best “Valentine’s Day gift we’ve ever received.”

“Our promise to you: We promise Sloane will be loved every single day by us, our friends and our family. We promise to give her the tools to live a happy, successful life of inclusivity and support,” they posted in a message for the birth mother along with a photo of the adorable baby.
“We promise to encourage her to follow her dreams no matter how big or small.”
As congratulations came pouring in online, other soccer players were the first to score.
