Singer Dionne Warwick may be turning 80, but she isn’t slowing down. The sassy LGBTQ icon is still touring, raising money for charity, and…

Enjoying her newfound status as the reigning Queen of Twitter.

Whether she’s inviting followers to ask her questions (no, she won’t buy you a PS5) or asking Chance the Rapper hard philosophical questions, Warwick is enjoying herself the entire time.

Warwick’s taken to social media with a vengeance, often to the chagrin of her team. Her back-and-forth with them is half of the entertainment. And it can’t be easy trying to handle the crooner.

“Hi, @chancetherapper,” she tweeted. “If you are very obviously a rapper why did you put it in your stage name? I cannot stop thinking about this.”

“I am now Dionne the Singer,” she added.

“Mom that’s it!” Warwick’s son replied. “As soon as this quarantine is over I’m taking your iphone away from you.. time to go back to a flip phone.”

But Chance the Rapper had already seen the tweet and responded appropriately to the Queen’s attention.

“Sorry I’m still freaking out that u know who I am. This is amazing!” he sent back. “I will be whatever you wanna call me Ms Warwick. God bless you”

“The Weeknd is next,” Warwick continued after getting her due. “Why? It’s not even spelled correctly?”

“If you have ‘The’ in your name i’m coming for you. I need answers today.”

While Chance responded directly, as did Taylor Swift, the Weeknd didn’t respond. Neither did Snoop Dogg. And you don’t keep a queen waiting.

Warwick’s cheerful comedy and earnest clumsiness are just what everyone needs for the holidays in 2020. Long live the Queen.
