Now that it’s official that Guardians of the Galaxy hero Star-Lord is bisexual, actor Daniel Newman thinks the character should be played by a bisexual actor in the movie franchise. In fact, he’s got just the guy.

It’s him.

The Walking Dead actor tweeted his idea to Marvel and Disney, tagging a handful of media outlets including LGBTQ Nation, in his message.

“If Star-Lord is Bisexual now, then an Out Bisexual actor should be playing him!” he tweeted. “I SHOULD BE PLAYING HIM.”

Plus, he added with a silly face emoji, he looks “exactly like the character.”

Chris Pratt, the actor who currently plays Star-Lord in the movies, says he is an LGBTQ ally, but he attends an anti-LGBTQ church that refuses to hire gay people or “affirm a gay lifestyle.”

Fans quickly echoed Newman’s idea – including fellow actor Debra Messing and politico Jon Cooper.
