So we can celebrate virtually, LGBTQ Nation asked our readers to share a photo with us from the first time they went to Pride. Submissions poured in from around the world, spanning every year from 1970 to 2019.

“This certainly wasn’t my first pride, but it was my first one in Seattle on my job’s float. I’m one of only a few transgender employees in the company.

“I was proud to show the diversity of our company, and help them pay respect to the LGBTQ population.”
