Lil Nas X just came out on Twitter.
The rapper is best known for his hit single “Old Town Road,” which featured country legend Billy Ray Cyrus. The record was certified three times platinum and topped the charts all over the world this year.
Yesterday, he tweeted a somewhat cryptic message. An unnamed source told the music magazine Pitchfork that Lil Nas X was coming out as LGBTQ in that tweet.
“Some of y’all already know, some of y’all don’t care, some of y’all not gone fwm no more. but before this month ends i want y’all to listen closely to c7osure,” he wrote, adding a rainbow. June is, of course, Pride Month.

The lyrics to “C7osure” say that he wants to “use my time to be free,” that there “ain’t no more actin’,” and that he has to “let my future take ahold” because he “can’t be regrettin’ when I’m old.”

He later tweeted the artwork from his album 7, which has rainbows.
“deadass thought i made it obvious,” he wrote.
