The New York City Police Department announced that an arrest has been made in connection to a homophobic attack on a woman in the subway.
Allasheed Allah, 54, from East Harlem was arraigned on charges of aggravated harassment and assault, both with hate crimes enhancements.
Earlier this week, the NYPD’s Hate Crime Task Force released an image and a description of a man who allegedly attacked a 20-year-old woman in the subway after another woman kissed her on the cheek.
“Kiss her again, you dykes,” the man said, according to police.
