Michele Bachmann is considering a Senate run in Minnesota. She is even praying about it (of course).
Looks like you can count “God” among those who wish she wouldn’t, and He is making his message known in not so mysterious ways.
Bachmann recently told televangelist Jim Bakker that she is asking God whether she should run for Al Franken’s Senate seat.
Here’s her answer, from the Big Man Himself:

The billboard was paid for with a crowdfunding campaign set up by the popular Facebook and Twitter “God” account, branched off more recently into a satire website.
“I fulfilled the calling that God gave me,” Bachmann told Bakker, referring to her unsuccessful 2012 presidential run. (They do say God has a sense of humor, after all.)
“So the question is, am I being called to do this now?” she asked. “I don’t know.”
Minnesota Lieutenant Governor Tina Smith took Franken’s seat and is planning to run. Smith is a member of the Minnesota Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party, an affiliate of the Democratic Party.
Bachmann made a name for herself as one of the most far-right, and conspiratorial, members of the Republican party during her time as a member of the House of Representatives. There wasn’t an anti-LGBTQ piece of legislation she wasn’t itching to get behind.
Let’s hope she looks up and finds her answer. God has spoken: Don’t run. Sit down.
